JScout
went for a ekspedition training at Gunung
Nuang (locate at PAHANG)
to obtain the scout's ekspedition badge ...

We gather at the SMP for the manifesto at 6.30 A.M ~until ~8.00 P.M...

Hence,we prepare our backpack and went ~there~ by bus.......

Once we arrived our destination,we start our journey to explore
the legendary Gunung Nuang....

Beautiful views that can't be seen in the town ......(>.<)

After that, we entered the "jungle state"......

When we pass by a very slippery place, the whole troop separate...
Our patrol leader
bros and the whole troop separate into
few parts,we lost the guides and we have to find the road ourself by
refer to the checkpoints that tied on the tree......
The road become more slippery and difficult to walk, we have to help each other to climb up , some members also facing many problems
like short of energy, suffering while sucking blood by the leeches
and not enough food to recover energy.
We manage to reach the peak at around 5.30 P.M
(the organizer estimate us to reach there at 3 P.M)...

During the time we reach the peak, it is raining heavily,we were
forced to continue our journey to get down to the campsite that
locate at the mountainside before the sky getting black,
(by other road) so, we
keep getting down to the campsite after we rest for a minute.
The road getting down to the campsite is more slippery than the
road before, one member almost drop to the cliff ...... we slide
against the big rock to keep moving, all of us were hurt
while we getting down,on the other hand,we also need to find for
the checkpoints to prevent we lost in the middle of the mountain.
The sky getting more dark but we haven't manage to reach
our destination.Soon, the sky fall into "pure" dark night,we have to
use our torchlight to lighten the road at front. All of us are full
with fear but we cannot move forward faster because we're
dragging our body that injured seriously, we must slide across the
ramp and few of us injured more now...
(The status now is:5 injured JScout and 1 indian scout following at back)

We continue moving forward, without guide, without food, and lack of energy, only with our barely torchlight, this situation last for few hours, all of us groan
for tired and paint all the way but we can't stop because no place suitable for us to encamp, the two side of the road are cliffs so we have to be very careful to keep moving forward. After a long long long long long long journey,we saw some light at front!! All of us become so excited, we suppress our tiredness and use all the energy that we left to keep moving toward the light.......

We saw a flat ground and there are people camping there!!!!
we go forward and ask permission from those people to stay
aside them, those people are so kind, they lend us one of their camp
for us and ask us to build it ourself, a man lead us to the nearest
waterfall to get some fresh water becuse we are lacking of water
supply after we "suffering" for whole day, they also give us some
bread and curry chicken that they made theirselves ,the place
is a paradise to us for that time,we learned kindness from them,
even they are malays, but they still help us alot, especially at this
time, this is the kind of purpose that we(scout) need to learn and
teach it to others...
So,we have a good meal at there, and we sleep so sweet that
night, thaks to that group of climbers(^.^)
The next day, after we thanked those climbers,we use extreme speed
to get down to the base, after an hour,we arrived the next
campsite (The campsite that the other group stay last night).
We knew that they were gone,so we keep getting down from the
mountain (hope we can reach the base as fast as we can to gather
with them)......
30 minutes later,we finally saw some staff at front ,they welcome us with waving hand(This is the base!!YEAH!!). Those staff give us some rice to restore our stamina and let us rest on the carpet that they prepared, they told us the 1st group went to the next station to have their lunch there,if we want to meet them,we must walk five more km to reach the location, but they will help us to carry our bag if the
"FOUR WHEEL" arrived later...

So...once again,we carry our stick and move forward for 5 more km. While we walking for the 5km journey,we saw few "FOUR WHEEL" move towards us and going to the place that we rest just now to carry our bag.We keep walking and walking, suddenly.... we saw the
"FOUR WHEEL" that past by us just now, they are carrying other scout (the scout that reach "the place we rest just now" slower than us)

it means...the
"FOUR WHEEL" that help us to carry our bag can
also fetch people too,if we wait at the station just now,the
"FOUR WHEEL" will also carry us to the next station !!!!!!

We saw each
"FOUR WHEEL" carrying other scout that actually slower than us just now.So..now,we become the last team(not fair!!they use transportation!!!)
We cannot do anything, still keep walking and walking........ 1 hour later, we finally arrived the next station, some staff praise us
because of finish all the journey from starting point without any guide and transportation...
We took our lunch there and rest for few minutes, after that, the staff gathered all the scouts (include us) at a
pondok ,they give us the
certificate to prove our victory that conquest the whole mountain.

We start from PAHANG and now we were all in SELANGOR!!
(The mountain connect this two state)
